凯西·摩尔·考恩，78年
Memphian Kathy Moore Cowan graduated from Rhodes in 1978 with a bachelor’s degree in political science and anthropology/sociology, and she went on to earn a master’s degree in urban planning from 的 University of Tennessee, 诺克斯维尔. She has spent more than two decades driving high-impact community investment activity and currently serves as executive director of 的 Memphis office of 的 Local Initiatives 支持 Corporation, which supports community development initiatives across 的 country.
Cowan also has served as vice president/community development manager for Regions Bank-West TN, 肯塔基州西南, North AR; senior community development specialist for 的 Memphis Branch of 的 Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis; and president/CEO of 的 Works, a nonprofit community development corporation serving South Memphis.
While working at 的 Works, Cowan trained several interns who were Rhodes students.
She has volunteered her time and service on a number of boards including Memphis Housing Authority, 孟菲斯疫病管理局, Community Foundation of Greater Memphis, 芥末籽, 公司.
